Jason Kutz

Bio: In his first full year as starter, as a senior, won an EIWA championship at 126 lbs over All-American Willie Carpenter, Brown. Although he didn't place at NCAAs, Kutz earned a #6 seed after winning 24 straight dual bouts through Feb of his senior year (the loss to 3x All-American, Sanshiro Abe, Penn State). He was 30-2 entering Nationals.

Kutz embarked upon a career in the military, earning the rank of Sargeant, as well as national freestyle rankings at the post-graduate level as high as number two in the U.S. at 132 lbs.

He has also assisted Greg Strobel's lightweight wrestlers during parts of the 2003 and 2004 seasons by traveling from Colorado to train with the team.
