Scott Christie

Bio: A two-sport athlete (football & wrestling) out of Glen Rock, NJ, Scott improved steadily until finding his ideal weight (177) for the post-season as a senior. After placing 2nd in the EIWA at 190 in '70 (just 6-4 on the year), Christie won league and district titles in '71 and came close to All-American status as the number five seed in Auburn. He lost 2-1 to the eventual winner (2x champ, Geoff Baum, OklaSt) and then lost to the 4th place winner.

Scott finished up with a 7-1 mark in duals and 18-3 overall in 1971. His career mark was 30-12, with seven pins.
